Opening hours 

We are open and serving fresh coffee from 09.00 am! Lunch is served from 09.00 am. It is also possible to order a light breakfast between 09.00 and 11.00 am. Breakfast reservations can be made via info@hotel-sonnevanck.nl. We serve dinner between 5.00 pm and 9.00 pm from Sunday to Thursday, and from 5.00 to 9.30 pm on Friday and Saturday.

In the vicinity of Hotel Sonnevanck

Walking and cycling: Hotel Sonnevanck is situated at the edge of one of the most beautiful dune areas in Europe: the North Holland Dune Reserve. This nature reserve stretches all the way to Bergen aan Zee and is a Mecca for birdwatchers and botanists. It’s also the ideal place for some brisk, uplifting exercise or for simply relaxing and philosophising. In other words: a truly magnificent area.

Just a few words sum it up for beach lovers: Hotel Sonnevanck is just 1 minute away from the finest beach in Europe! And it’s all within easy reach for city trippers too. Cities such as Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are within half an hour of Beverwijk by car or public transport (bus 59 or a train taxi will take you to Beverwijk station). We can also recommend a visit to the historic houses and windmills at Zaanse Schans (Zaandam), the Black Market (Beverwijk) or the bulb fields (Lisse).
